What Hath God Wrought, Wisdom And So Much More!

Solomon was the wisest man that ever lived.

1 Kings 4:29-31 And God gave Solomon wisdom and exceedingly great understanding, and largeness of heart like the sand on the seashore. Thus Solomon’s wisdom excelled the wisdom of all the men of the East and all the wisdom of Egypt. For he was wiser than all men...

But Jesus said that a greater than Solomon was here, referring to Himself!

Matthew 12:42 The queen of the South will rise up in the judgment with this generation and condemn it, for she came from the ends of the earth to hear the wisdom of Solomon; and indeed a greater than Solomon is here.

Now, the Spirit of Jesus is in us since we are redeemed believers.

John 20:22 And when He had said this, He breathed on them, and said to them, “Receive the Holy Spirit.

Or, if you prefer this reference:

Acts 2:1-4 When the Day of Pentecost had fully come, they were all with one accord in one place. 2 And suddenly there came a sound from heaven, as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled the whole house where they were sitting. 3 Then there appeared to them divided tongues, as of fire, and one sat upon each of them. 4 And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.

And He doesn't change! Nor does His Spirit!

Hebrews13:8 Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever.

Therefore, a greater than Solomon is in us! (I really want to emphasize this point!)

1 John 4:4 You are of God, little children, and have overcome them, because He who is in you is greater than he who is in the world.

What potential is in us, is in the Body of Christ!

Alas! What hinders us in the fight against Satan, in the fight against evil?
Disunity!
Unbelief!
Unforgiveness!
And we are caught up in doing what we hate!
Romans 7:15 For what I am doing, I do not understand. For what I will to do, that I do not practice; but what I hate, that I do.

Why? Because we are walking/living in the Flesh!
Galatians 5:16-17 I say then: Walk in the Spirit, and you shall not fulfill the lust of the flesh. 17 For the flesh lusts against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh; and these are contrary to one another, so that you do not do the things that you wish.

But be encouraged! God is FOR you!

Now, what to do? Ask the Lord to fill you with His Spirit. This is not a once and you're done thing. This needs to be done continually!

Disunity? Repent! Start your unity process with your spouse (or a close relative if you are unmarried)! Repent of any separation with her or him! This also is not a once and you're done thing. This needs to be done continually, (hopefully not continuously!) with humility, repentance, and forgiveness! Yes, this can be hard and for some couples take a long time! Don't give up! How do I know? I'm married!

Unbelief? Repent! Start by reading the Bible regularly and forsaking any unwholesome input and any demanding all-consuming activities!

Unforgiveness? Repent! Ask the Lord to enable you to forgive! He will, since it is His will that you forgive!

Expect a blessing through it all, and eventually much joy and power in the Spirit!
